Cebu Pacific Air has a new Airbus A320 aircraft from Toulouse, France. This is reportedly their 22nd brand-new Airbus aircraft. There are 21 more brand new Airbus aircraft that will be part of CEB’s fleet up to 2014. The A320 is said to have an average fleet age of 3.21 years. It is equipped with the latest avionics from global leaders in aviation electronics – Thales and Rockwell Collins.
I actually missed flying in a CEB’s airbus. The plane that took us back home was small and old. It made a scary drop during our final descent. The weather was not that good though so I might as well pray our next flight in their smaller aircraft won’t be during bad weather days. Those flying Cebu Pacific flights in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 will be able to ride this brand new aircraft as CEB’s way to support flight increases and network expansion. Maybe we will be able to ride this plane when we have a trip abroad but not on our domestic destinations maybe.
